1. God will take the smallest seed
so called wimp, nerd, geek or weed,
those “least likely to succeed”
in God's hands become great trees.

2.  If you feel you don't compare -
well then, don't – just don't compare!
In God's hands we all can be
growing tall and strong and free.

3.  Thank you, Lord, for loving me!
Let me always, always be
planted in your love for me –
growing love – like I should be!

4.  Plant us, Jesus, at your side
spread our branches far and wide
reaching out our arms like you
grow in us your precious fruit.

5.  Fruits of joy and hope and peace
full of juicy life so sweet,
But much more than all of these
One fruit will our Saviour please:

6.  Love is what God longs to see
growing strong in you and me
flowing on as you and I
spread our branches far and wide.
