Suggested Tune Joyful (8.7.8.7.D.) by Ludwig von Beethoven

1. Holy God of all Creation
In your presence light abounds
Here we stand in trepidation
Who may tread your holy ground?
Unclean, sinful, so unworthy,
surely none of us may dare,
surely in your presence holy
we would die before your glare.

2.  Who is righteous, who is blameless?
All fall short and all have sin.
Though we long for your sweet presence,
who may hope to enter in?
Who can show the way to go and
who can bring us to the Throne?
Only One, the Royal Son can
He's the Way and He alone!

3.  He is blameless, sinless, righteous,
He alone did never fall,
He alone can clean us, right us,
He alone has paid for all.
Since He freed us He can lead us
right up to the Royal Throne.
Standing there as royal heirs we
are adopted as His own.

4.  You declared us righteous, spared us
from the death our Jesus died.
Now our ever rising prayer is:
let your Breath in us abide!
You can show the way to go and
you can bring us to the Throne!
Only One, the Royal Son can
You're the Way and You alone!
