Suggested Tune TE LAUDANT OMNIA (7 7. 7 7. 7 7.)

1. "Humbly serve me," comes the call;
"Yes, Lord, gladly!" say we all,
every Sunday in our pews,
"We will boldly share your news!"
Yet the Monday has then seen
all the Christians not so keen.

2. "Humbly serve me," sounds the call;
"No, we will not!" say the world,
"Who gave you authority?"
And yet many come to see:
Jesus Christ is Lord and King.
"We will serve you!" they then sing.

3. Humbly serve me!" Hear the call!
Let us then like-minded all
lose ambition and conceit;
let us learn at Jesus' feet
How we too may humble be -
Humbly serve now, as did He!
