Tune: TALLIS' CANON (LM) by Thomas Tallis

CCLI license holders may freely use and reproduce these lyrics, provided that CCLI copyright protocol is followed. (See Copyright Info)

1. Lord, I would give myself to you
as you have given, full and free;
and if in giving I am true,
then let me now give all of me.

2.   So let me give you all I have -
the things I like to call my own:
the things that I can make or do;
the time in which it must be done.

3.  Why would I not give all for you?
From your fullness, flowing free,
grace upon grace pours out from you;
Let me then give as I've received!

4.  Economists may shake their heads,
I won't hold back or hedge my bets,
one basket only for these eggs!
No compromise and no regrets.

5.  A widow gives her last two coins -
who can make sense of God's accounts?
With humblest gifts from just a boy,
God satisfies the hungry crowds!

6.  My Lord, how sweet it is to find
I have so much that I can give,
for nothing here is truly mine,
yet rich and free I have received!
