1. What do we have tied up
that our dear Lord may need?
our humblest donkey gifts
He'll use as royal steeds!

2. Release! We must release
the things we label “mine,”
with Jesus they may serve
a purpose most divine.

3. And we too find release
when we no longer grasp
the things we label “mine,”
and all is God's at last!
