Suggested Tune MOZART (From "Die Zauberflote") (8 8. 8 8. 8 8.)

1. The invitation's loud and clear
on every corner of the streets:
a royal feast is drawing near -
"Come in, come in and take your seats,
and watch your cups just overflow!"
How could one possibly say "no"?

2. How could one thus refuse God's grace
and His great plans to swallow death;
to wipe all tears from every face
and breathe in us salvation's breath?
We will not miss the wedding - no!
And we'll be there in wedding clothes!

3. Let us rejoice, let us be glad,
and fix our hearts on all that's pure.
How do we turn our minds from bad?
The true and noble thought's our cure -
it guards our hearts and minds with peace
in Christ until with Him we feast!
